Can I bring my pets?
Yes, we allow dogs or other pets (non-venomous of course!) up to 25 pounds. Limited to 1 unless you have 2 very small dogs.
Do you do fishing charters?
Not really, but the boat does have a live well, if you have a fishing license and know where you want to go I will take you there. We mainly focus on Sightseeing tours and Island adventures.
How many people can I take on a charter?
Up to 6. Any more than 6 just isn’t comfortable on our boat. If you are using your own boat and hiring Captain Phil to drive, he is licensed for vessels up to 25 Gross Tons carryng up to 140 people.
Does the boat have a bathroom?
No, so we suggest you go before leaving the dock. Depending on the trip you choose, there may or may not be facilities available at your destination, or along the way.
What are your hours of operation?
Whenever you would like to go out!
Where do tours leave from?
Generally we leave from our boat’s home at Home Port Marina.
The marina has plenty of parking, a ship’s store with beer, ice, sunblock and other items you may need, as well as a really good restaurant with a full menu, bar, and even a pool and hot tub available for patrons as well as members of the marina and their guests.
We can also pick you up at any public dock in the area, or any place you have access to a dock, for an extra fee.
Is there an extra charge for fuel?
Yes, there is a surcharge for fuel, based on how long of a charter you are planning. We try to keep it as low as possible, just to cover the fuel we use while we are out. The 1 hour 45 minute sunset cruise does not have a fuel surcharge, since we love sunsets we will pick up the tab on that one.
Is there a discount for Locals?
Yes! If you live in Clearwater, Dunedin, or Palm Harbor we will take 10% off the price of your tour and half off the fuel surcharge.
Can you captain a boat for me?
We can! Captain Phil provides captain services on boats up to 34 feet for $40 an hour. Please contact us for additional details.
