Three Rooker, or Three Rooker Bar as it is known on nautical charts, is a set of 2 islands located between Honeymoon Island and Anclote Key, off the coast of northern Pinellas County. While it is classified on charts as one large sand bar, in reality it is 2 islands with a quarter-mile of shallow water between them. Home to a large protected bird population, Three Rooker is regarded by locals as one of the most beautiful spots in the area, and is a very popular boating destination. Its beauty can’t really be described, it just has to be seen. Phil Good Tours offers excursions to both the northern and southern halves of Three Rooker, where you are likely to see many different kinds of birds, and probably some dolphins along the way. It’s also one of Captain Phil’s favorite spots.
